Love when you write long detailed articles like this. Makes my day
Is interesting what you write about what Francis said about Mary. Is the first time a read somethings this blatant about Mary´s reputation. Could you please name the source? I would like to find out more.
@BB Thank you for your comments! Concerning the source: Please see Joanna Denny's "Anne Boleyn: A New Life of England's Tragic Queen" Pages 37-8, 40 and 42 concern Mary Boleyn's affair with King Francis I. The primary source cited for this is the "Letters and Papers, Foreign and Domestic of the Reign of Henry VIII, ed. J.S. Brewer, J. Gardiner and R.H. Brodie, 21 vols., London, 1862-1932." This comment is in x.18, 450. These comments on Mary Boleyn have also been cited in other biographies. Keep in mind that the Mary Boleyn character of P.Gregory's "The Other Boleyn Girl" is by no means the authentic Mary Boleyn.
